The annual Jacksonville Bar Association Young Lawyers Section Chili Cook-off is 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Feb. 15 at Riverside Arts Market.
More than 50 law firms are bringing their signature chili and cornbread to compete for bragging rights and also to raise money for Clarke Schools for Hearing and Speech.
Chili Cook-off Committee Co-chair Kayla Haines said there will be free chili samples, live music, and beer provided by sponsors Intuition Ale Works and General Truck Equipment and Trailer Sales Inc.
Proceeds from the firms’ registration fees and donations from the public will benefit the school and there will be a raffle for tickets to The Players Championship.
