The Jacksonville Jaguars have a new general manager and he now has a new home in Duval County.
Property records show James Gladstone and his wife, Julie, bought a home March 21 at 14365 Cottage Lake Road in Pablo Creek Reserve for $3 million from Searcy Properties LLC.
The Gladstones then took out a $2.4 million mortgage with Bank of America.
The two-story, 4,071-square-foot home was built in 2024. It has five bedrooms, four and one-half baths and a pool.
The homebuilder is Riverside Homes Custom. Its website calls the home Cottage Lake Manor. The home backs up to a pond and features split garages.
Pablo Creek Reserve, south of Butler Boulevard off San Pablo Road South, is “an exclusive, gated residential community, comprising an enclave of inspired homes in a sanctuary-like woodland environment,” says the website of the community developer, PARC Group.
The Jaguars hired Gladstone, 34, in February, as they shook up their leadership, adding Liam Coen as head coach and Tony Boselli the team’s executive vice president of football operations.
Gladstone spent the past nine seasons with the Los Angeles Rams (2016-24), most recently as director of scouting strategy (2022-24).
Before entering the NFL, Gladstone worked in educational administration as the student activities director and football coach at Clayton High School in his hometown of St. Louis, and as the media and literacy coordinator and football coach at St. John Vianney High School, also in St. Louis.
Gladstone graduated from Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri, in 2013 with a bachelor’s in education and subsequently added a master’s in education administration.
While attending Westminster, he was a two-time captain of the football team, awarded Athlete of the Year honors and was named to the Beyond Sports Network All-American team as a wide receiver.
