JBA celebrating women in the law and leadership

A panel of leading lawyers will share how they balance ethical commitments, mentorship and responsibilities.

The Jacksonville Bar Association will present “Celebrating Women in the Law and Leadership: Onward and Upward with Empowerment and Professionalism” 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. March 25 at the Bryan Simpson U.S. Courthouse, Downtown at 300 N. Hogan St.

A panel discussion exploring leadership and professionalism in the legal profession will be moderated by Chief U.S. District Judge for the Middle District of Florida Marcia Morales Howard.

The panel will comprise JBA board of governors members Adina Pollan, Shannon Schott, Amber Donley, Alexandria Hill and Kathryn Stanfill and JBA Young Lawyers Section President Kayla Haines Herrin.

The panelists will share their insights on balancing ethical commitments with leadership responsibilities, mentorship and fostering trust in the justice system.

The program offers 3.0 general CLE credits and 3.0 professionalism credits and will conclude with a networking reception.
