Jacksonville-based Mattamy Homes, one of two builders of the Rivertown development, is the landowner. Toll Brothers is the other builder. MJ Stokes Consulting LLC of Tampa is the contractor.

The original developer was Panama City-based St. Joe Co.

The company specializes in the manufacturing, development, distribution and sale of paint, coatings and related products to professional, industrial, commercial and retail customers.

Sherwin-Williams was founded by Henry Sherwin and Edward Williams in 1866. Its global headquarters is in Cleveland, where it has been based since 1930.

It is the largest paint and coatings company in the world and has more than 5,000 locations worldwide. The company says it opens a new store every three days, which includes about 80 to 100 per year in North America.

Sherwin-Williams reported 2024 record net sales of $23.1 billion.
