A senior living facility is planned in the Beachwalk community in St. Johns County.

Plans in review by the county show a four-story, 179,796-square-foot building that will house 24 memory care beds, 80 assisted living beds and 82 independent living units. There will be 179 parking spaces. A pool and pickleball court are also planned.

A senior living facility is proposed on 5.5 acres on Beachwalk Boulevard off Florida 208 behind BJ’s Wholesale Club. The site is about 2.5 miles east of Interstate 95.

The St. Johns County Development Review Committee is scheduled to discuss the project March 26.

The land is owned by St. Johns LLP and National Four Star Development LLC, both based in Naples. 

National Four Star Development shares an address with Stonewater Development Group LLC and Winfield Building & Development Co.

According to Sunbiz.org, two individuals affiliated with National Four Star Development have ties to Keystone Senior Management Services Inc., a company with 12 senior living facilities in eight states, including Bonita Springs and Land O’ Lakes in Florida.  

Jacksonville-based civil engineer Prosser | Prime AE requested a JEA service availability determination for the project Feb. 13. Municipal utility JEA issued a letter Feb. 26 outlining the connection points and other details.

It will be the 16th senior living facility in St. Johns County. The closest is The Blake at St. Johns, about 4 miles away west of Interstate 95 at 4414 County Road 210.

Beachwalk developers include Pebb Enterprises, Falcone Group of Boca Raton and Jacksonville-based Lennar Homes.
