The state Supreme Court in court orders published June 1 disciplined 14 attorneys, disbarring two, revoking the license of three, suspending seven and reprimanding two.

Two practice in Jacksonville.

Taylor Wayne Casey, 630 W. Adams St., Suite 204, Jacksonville, received interim felony suspension effective 30 days following a May 7 court order.

Arrested at Miller’s Ale House in South Jacksonville at the request of the manager, Casey later was convicted of resisting an officer with violence, trespass and disorderly intoxication. He was sentenced to 18 months probation, according to documents filed with The Florida Bar.

Kenneth Clark Steel III, 1837 Hendricks Ave., Jacksonville, received public reprimand effective 30 days following a May 8 court order.

Steel missed the two-year Georgia Statute of Limitations for a client’s civil tort case, resulting in the client being time-barred from seeking redress for her personal injuries.

Court orders are not final until time expires to file a rehearing motion and, if filed, determined. The filing of such a motion does not alter the effective date of the discipline.
