Gate Precast acquires Georgia-based Precision Stone

The companies have worked together on Atlanta stadium projects.

Gate Precast announced July 21 it acquired Precision Stone Setting Co. of Hiram, Georgia.

Founded in 1984 by Harold Smith, Precision Stone offers planning, crane services, equipment hauling and “extensive expertise in architectural and structural precast erection.”

Gate makes prefabricated concrete systems for such structures as parking garages.
