Two new St. Johns Town Center tenants are building-out after the city issued permits Jan. 27 for the projects.
St. Johns Town Center is at northwest Interstate 295 and Butler Boulevard. Simon Property Group is the landlord.
Tesla’s former auto showroom is becoming an Omega watch store and Aroma360 is renovating space near Nordstrom.
Omega
For Omega, Hirsch Construction Corp. of Middleton, Massachusetts, will renovate the 2,837-square-foot space at 4835 River City Drive, Unit 105, at a project cost of $1.75 million.
The luxury Swiss luxury manufacturer intends to open in an end unit next to the Apple store and in front of RH, the name of the former Restoration Hardware.
AEC Integrated of Jacksonville provided permitting services for Omega. Deforma Studio Inc. of Miami is the architect.
OmegaWatches.com shows that men’s watches start at $3,750 for the De Ville Prestige collection.
Prices start at $3,100 for women for the Constellation collection.
Accessories include NATO straps, bracelets, cuff links, sunglasses, belts and more. Omega says the “NATO” straps evolved from the leather and canvas ones used by British pilots, navigators and army personnel during World War II.
Simon.com says that Omega, part of The Swatch Group Ltd. of Switzerland, is the world’s leading watch manufacturer and was founded in 1848.
Omega operates stores globally. There are five boutiques in Florida in Miami, Naples, Orlando, Palm Beach Gardens and Tampa.
Omega also is sold at retailers that include Mayors jewelers in St. Johns Town Center.
The Swatch Group (U.S.) Inc. is based in Miami.
Tesla moved to a service and delivery center and gallery showroom along Atlantic Boulevard in East Arlington.
Aroma360
For Aroma360, which provides scenting services for homes, businesses and cars, Exxpo Construction of Aventura is the contractor for the $152,133 renovation of the 2,000-square-foot space.
Aroma360 will build-out at 4818 River City Drive, Unit 101, in the Nordstrom courtyard where furniture companies have been opening their only Jacksonville locations.
Calling itself a luxury scenting service, the retailer says it specializes in ambient scenting solutions and creates customized fragrances for all sizes of space.
Zamparelli Architectural Group of Miami is the Aroma360 architect.
The St. Johns Town Center website on simon.com shows the store as coming soon in the corner of the building nearest Nordstrom and across the courtyard from the Nordstrom Ebar coffee shop.
In addition to clothing retailers, the courtyard tenants include Arhaus Furniture, Lovesac and soon, Relax in Comfort.
Aroma360 says it uses “the principles of Aromachology” to analyze how scents will influence potential customers.
“Whether it be incorporating a scent to stimulate sales, enhance perceived value or to increase feelings of trust and calmness – scent is a powerful tool that is widely underused,” says aroma360.com.
Clients include hotels, spas, other businesses and homes. Aroma360 says it has worked with brands that include Lexus, Disney, Marriott, Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts and Ferrari.
The Miami-based company has 17 showrooms in six states, including seven in Florida in Aventura, Boca Raton, Naples, Palm Beach, Sarasota, Tampa and Wynwood.
Customers can create a signature scent or buy those listed as “inspired by” hotels such as Ritz-Carlton, Westin Hotels, Margaritaville, Fairmont Hotels and others.
Aroma360 sells room scent and car diffusers as well as portable Wireless Pro devices. It sells stand-alone scenting and HVAC installation.
Aroma360 also sells reed diffusers, candles and room sprays. It recently launched a perfume and body collection.
The company says it was founded by Benzion Aboud and has scaled into a $250 million business with more than 2 million current customers.
State corporate records show Aroma360 was registered with the state in 2014.
Aroma360 Jacksonville LLC was filed with the state April 23, 2024.
