The restaurant along the Intracoastal Waterway in Ponte Vedra Beach closed in 2021.

St. Johns County issued a permit Feb. 27 for the demolition of the former Lulu’s Waterfront Grille in Ponte Vedra Beach.

The 6,286-square-foot, one-story building is at 301 N. Roscoe Blvd. on the Intracoastal Waterway.

Jerry Doherty of Realco Recycling Co. Inc. of Jacksonville filed the permit on behalf of Shark Tooth Dining LLC.

No demolition cost was listed in the document.

The restaurant closed in December 2021. It sold in November 2024 for $4.2 million.

The seller was Cliff Moore through TQ Corp of Ponte Vedra Beach. 

The buyer was Alex Cranberg of Cranberg Holdings, through Shark Tooth Dining LLC. Cranberg is chairman of Aspect Holdings, according to the company’s website.

The restaurant, built in 1971, is on 1.34 acres.
