The 280-unit Eight Winds apartments in St. Augustine sold Feb. 26 for $59 million.
The community is at 50 Wexford Way off north International Golf Parkway about 1 mile east of Interstate 95 and World Golf Village. The per-unit sales price is $210,714.
Altis Cardinal of Coral Gables sold the property through ACL Bannon Lakes LLC.
Tampa-based DeBartolo Holdings bought it through Eight Winds Property Owner LLC.
Eight Winds Property Owner then took out a $55 million mortgage with New York-based Goldman Sachs Bank USA.
The community, built as Bannon Lakes, was completed in 2024 and comprises a clubhouse and seven four-story buildings.
It offers one-, two- and three-bedroom units from 707 square feet to 1,248 square feet. Rents are $1,360 to $1,975 a month.
Eight Winds offers private garages and storage units for an extra charge.
Amenities include a pool, gym and kids club, outdoor game and lounge pavilion, summer kitchen with gas grills and pizza ovens, fire pit, car wash, pet wash and EV charging stations.
