JAX Airport Logistics Center can build second warehouse

The city issued a permit Feb. 21 for Building 200 soon after one for Building 100 at the North Jacksonville industrial park.

Less than two weeks after issuing a permit Feb. 11 for Building 100, the city issued one Feb. 21 for Building 200 at JAX Airport Logistics Center in North Jacksonville.

ARCO Design/Build is the contractor for the project at 14825 International Airport Blvd.

GAI Consultants is the consultant and PQH Group is the architect.

The 200,000-square-foot Building 100 shell structure carries a project cost of $8.15 million.

The 225,000-square-foot Building 200 is almost $8.86 million. 

Jax Industrial Three Ltd., a Coral Gables group led by former Florida Lt. Gov. Carlos Lopez-Cantera, is developing the 30.18-acre industrial park. 

The site is east of Jacksonville International Airport and west of Interstate 95, about 1 mile south of Pecan Road. The property has been used for timber.

Jax Industrial Three Ltd. paid almost $2.55 million for the site Oct. 14, 2022. 

The city issued a site-clearing permit in February 2024 for the park at a project cost of $402,000.

The project is prepared for Pan American Companies Inc., led by Lopez-Cantera.

The Colliers real estate firm is handling leasing for the property.

Colliers Executive Vice President Guy Preston and associates Seda Preston and Jack Heed of Colliers represent the project. The brochure says it is within the boundary of the Northwest Jacksonville Economic Development Fund boundary.

Flexible suites start at 50,000 square feet.
