The Jacksonville Federal Bar Association is recruiting volunteers to serve as presiding judges and scoring jurors for the 4th Judicial Circuit High School Mock Trial Competition on Feb. 14.

The competition gives high school students a glimpse into the justice system and the practice of law.

The competition, sponsored by the American Board of Trial Advocates, is at the Duval County Courthouse.

There are three rounds, starting at 8 a.m. and concluding by 5:30 p.m.

The winners of the competition will be announced afterward on the courthouse steps and advance to the State Championship to represent the 4th Judicial Circuit.

Breakfast, coffee, lunch and snacks will be provided.
