A St. Johns County building permit application indicates home goods retailer Turner Home is planning a location in Nocatee.
Turner Home sells indoor and outdoor furniture, accessories and decor.
The county is reviewing an application submitted April 11 for a site on vacant land along north Crosswater Parkway about 0.5 mile east of the Nocatee Splash Water Park near St. Johns County Fire-Rescue Station No. 18.
Plans show a 32,018-square-foot store, 7,947-square-foot garden center, 10,064-square-foot storage area and 80 parking spaces.
It would be the company’s third store in Northeast Florida.
The other locations are at 784 Marsh Landing Parkway in Jacksonville Beach and 6205 Florida 216 in St. Augustine.
City utility JEA received a service-availability request Feb. 24.
DCCM is the civil engineer. The land is owned by Sonoc Company LLC, part of the Davis family, which has been developing Nocatee.
According to turnerhomefl.com, “From our beginnings as a small neighborhood store, we have evolved into a 100,000-square-foot home and garden center serving the finest products in indoor and outdoor living to all of Northeast Florida.
