The Four Seasons Hotel and Residences is preparing to put in four pools and water features at an estimated job cost of $400,000.
Construction is underway for the hotel, residences and neighboring office building at 1406 E. Bay St. Downtown along the Northbank riverfront near EverBank Stadium.
The city is reviewing permit applications for two pools – family and adult – and two water features, at an estimated $100,000 each. Those appear to be focused on hotel guests.
Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shad Khan is developing the Four Seasons and office building, where the team will be headquartered.
Those water features are the “arrival” at the hotel drop-off and entrance and the “loggia” near the ballroom and hotel terraces and event lawns. Plans also show a spa near the family pool.
Southern Aquatics Inc. of Ponte Vedra is the contractor for the water projects. PCL Construction LLC of Orlando is the overall general contractor.
The 10-story Four Seasons Hotel and Residences comprises 170 hotel guestrooms and 26 residential units on 5.1 acres. The project is 542,700 square feet of enclosed space and 123,953 square feet of unenclosed space. There will be a spa, restaurants, ballrooms, bars, pools and other amenities.
The hotel is projected to open in 2026.
