An eighth Dutch Bros Coffee has surfaced in Northeast Florida, this one in West Jacksonville.
City utility JEA is reviewing a Sept. 26 service availability request for a double drive-thru kiosk for Dutch Bros at 7952 Normandy Blvd.
The 0.78-acre site is next to CVS Pharmacy at southeast Normandy Boulevard and Fouraker Road.
The JEA request is for the proposed demolition of an existing building and construction of a 950-square-foot coffee shop with a drive-thru and associated site and utility work.
Duval County property records show the existing 2,318-square-foot building on the land was developed in 1947. Donald and Peggy Matthews are the landowners.
Z Development Services of Orlando is the agent.
Dutch Bros opened its first area store Aug. 9 at 50 McCoy Way in the Palencia community in St. Augustine in St. Johns County.
Locations at 5733 Roosevelt Blvd. and 7720 Argyle Forest Blvd. are expected to open next.
Dutch Bros offers coffee, drinks and a limited menu of pastries with no on-site cooking.
It offers cold brew, chai, hot coffee, energy drinks, teas, lemonades, smoothies and its signature Dutch sodas. The food menu includes granola bars and muffin tops.
