Blake Hood joins Marshall Dennehey

The law firm is expanding its Florida Workers’ Compensation practice with the addition of Hood, who joined the firm’s Jacksonville office as a shareholder.

Marshall Dennehey is expanding its Florida Workers’ Compensation practice with the addition of Blake Hood, who joined the firm’s Jacksonville office as a shareholder.

Board certified in workers’ compensation by The Florida Bar, Hood has more than 20 years of experience defending employers, insurance carriers and third-party administrators in claims and appeals under the Florida Workers’ Compensation Act. His practice also extends to cases involving the federal Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act and the Defense Base Act.

Hood is a member of the Jacksonville Bar Association Social Security/Workers’ Compensation Committee and a barrister of the E. Robert Williams American Inn of Court.

A graduate of Emory University and Florida State University College of Law, Hood is admitted to practice law in Florida and North Carolina.
