The Jacksonville Aviation Authority board nominating committee made its recommendations Oct. 30 for officers to serve the 2024-25 term.
Positions include chair, vice chair, secretary and treasurer.
Michelle Barnett and Matt Connell are nominated to serve second consecutive terms as chair and vice chair, respectively.
“My hope is to continue the momentum this board has built in continuing to meet the ever-changing needs of the committee,” Barnett said.
Board member Sol Brotman is nominated to replace David Hodges as treasurer. In that role, he will oversee the board’s finance and audit committee.
William Gulliford is nominated to succeed Fernando Acosta-Rua as secretary, where he will ensure the board operates efficiently and in compliance with laws and regulations. He will also sign resolutions and board documents.
Committee members include Connell, who serves as chair, Brotman and Gulliford.
The full board will vote on the recommendations Nov. 20, where other nominations could be heard.
Officer terms are one year. Board members can serve a maximum of two consecutive four-year terms.
