Clay shoot raises $16K for legal aid

The money will help provide civil legal services people who cannot afford to retain an attorney when they have a legal issue.

The Jacksonville Area Legal Aid Clay Shoot Fundraiser to Drive Justice Forward raised more than $16,000 on Oct. 11 to help provide civil legal services to people in Northeast Florida who cannot afford to retain an attorney when they have a legal issue.

The inaugural event took place at Jacksonville Clay Target Sports.

Bradley Bodiford, Keith Blue, Shawn Devries, Ashley Goggins, Latoya Williams-Shelton and Vernon Shelton received the “Most Honest” team award.
