HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital will open its expanded inpatient rehabilitation facility Oct. 16, according to a news release.
It opened the facility in 2016 with 20 inpatient beds. The expansion brings the number of beds to 42.
The release said the upgrades include the newest in rehabilitation equipment and dedicated therapy spaces.
The inpatient rehabilitation team develops tailored treatment plans for each patient. The goal is to promote recovery and enhance the patient’s quality of life.
Patients receive rehabilitative services including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech pathology and audiology services to help patients improve functionality and independence.
“This expansion reflects our commitment to providing the highest level of care to our community. With the latest technology and resources, we are better equipped than ever to help our patients achieve their rehabilitation goals,” Jane Maynard, director of rehabilitation services at HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital, said in the release.
