Shad Khan’s wealth rose over the past year, but he slipped a bit in Forbes magazine’s annual list of richest Americans.
In a list published Oct. 1, Forbes said the Jacksonville Jaguars owner ranked 64th with a net worth of $13.3 billion.
That’s up from his estimated wealth of $12.2 billion a year ago but his ranking fell from 55th in 2023.
Khan built his fortune with auto parts supplier Flex-N-Gate, which he bought from his former employer in 1980, Forbes said.
He bought the Jaguars in 2012 for an estimated $770 million. In August, Forbes estimated the value of the NFL franchise at $4.6 billion.
Khan also owns British soccer team Fulham FC and, along with his son Tony, the professional wrestling organization All Elite Wrestling.
Forbes said Khan is the 12th-richest U.S. sports team owner.
