The Jacksonville Bar Association conducts its annual Holiday Project to make the season brighter for older adults in Duval County.

Thanks to the generosity of members and the legal community at large, the project has established a long tradition of providing gifts to hundreds of people every year.

This year the JBA needs about 100 more sponsors who will purchase and deliver gifts to recipients in their homes.

Many recipients have few, if any visitors, so the association encourages members to personally deliver the gifts.

Alternatively, items may be dropped off at the JBA office Downtown at 1 Independent Drive, Suite 120, and gifts will be delivered with the help of volunteers from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

Donated gifts my be dropped off at the JBA office Dec. 2 through 5 p.m. Dec. 6.
