Canopy Road Cafe is opening its Mandarin location Nov. 26.
The breakfast and lunch restaurant is at 10560 Old St. Augustine Road next to Huey Magoo’s.
It is the Tallahassee-based company’s third location in Northeast Florida. The others are at 12525 Philips Highway in Jacksonville and 90 Shops Blvd., Suite 10, in Saint Johns.
The chain has 12 locations in the Tallahassee and Jacksonville area, according to a Nov. 25 news release.
The Mandarin restaurant is 1,800 square feet and seats 70. There is 200 square feet of outdoor dining space.
Brothers Nick and Zach Presti are the owners. They opened EggBoy in Atlantic Beach in April. It is a sister company to Canopy Road Cafe.
“Similar to Nick and Zach, I believe that this has been an exceptional year for us with not only the opening of a third Canopy Road Café location in Northeast Florida, but with EggBoy as well,” said Brad Buckenheimer, Canopy Road Café CEO and co-founder, in the release.
“I consider them family, and it’s an honor to be continuing down this road of partnering to bring unmatched service and food to Jacksonville.”
The Canopy Road Cafe menu includes churro waffles, blueberry cobbler pancakes, country-fried steak with biscuits with gravy, as well as French toast, egg skillets and build-your-own omelets.
Lunch items include sandwiches, salads, wraps and half-pound Black Angus steak burgers.
The seasonal menu has pumpkin spice doughnut holes, sweet potato pancakes and a BBQ chicken quesadilla.
The restaurant will serve mimosas with plans to expand to serve beer and wine in the coming months.
Canopy Road Cafe hours are 6:30 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. daily.
