Funding Florida Legal Aid board vacancy

The Florida Bar Board of Governors is seeking applicants for the vacancies on the Funding Florida Legal Aid board of directors. The vacancies will be filled during the board’s Jan. 17, 2025, meeting. Lawyer applicants must be members of The Florida Bar and in good standing.

Two attorneys are needed to serve three-year terms, commencing July 1, 2025. The Florida Bar president receives recommendations from FFLA, formerly The Florida Bar Foundation, for consideration.

This 33-member board administers Florida’s Interest on Trust Accounts program. Directors shall be members of the FFLA during their term(s) as directors.

Applications will be accepted until close of business Dec. 9. Resumes will not be accepted in lieu of the required application.

The board will review all applications and may request telephone or personal interviews.
