The Mini Bar doughnut shop at 10618 Deerwood Park Blvd. near Gate Parkway will close Nov. 24.

Owners Brooke and Chase Sams were approached with an offer to sell, according to a Nov. 13 post on The Mini Bar’s Facebook page.

“We’ve sold our Gate Parkway location! A few weeks ago we were approached with an offer that we couldn’t refuse. We’ve loved the last 4½ years that we’ve spent here,” the post read.

The Mini Bar, which sells doughnuts about one-third the size of traditional doughnuts, is closing and also selling its VW bus bar.

“The Mini Bar’s final day of operation will be Sunday, November 24th. We will still be serving your favorite donuts and coffee until then, and would love to see you! The new owner will be converting and rebranding the space to their concept that will NOT include Mini Bar.”

To prepare to move out of the space, inventory and decorations will be sold. The VW bus bar will also be sold.

Hours until closing are 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday.

It is the last Mini Bar store. The original location in Jacksonville Beach, which opened in 2018, closed in February 2023. The Fleming Island shop closed in fall 2022 after eight months.

Mini Bar Donuts sells miniature, made-to-order doughnuts about one-third the size of traditional doughnuts. They are topped with an array of ingredients. In addition to coffee, it sells craft beer, mimosas and wine.
