E-Town is preparing for an animal clinic for Allied Veterinary Specialists.
The city is reviewing a permit application for RWE Design Build of Tampa to build a 16,044-square-foot clinic and emergency hospital at a project cost of almost $5.5 million.
The location is at 11245 Bold City St. on a 2.43-acre site owned by Aramac Properties Inc. near The Menlo apartments.
Aramac is led by John Mackenzie, Brad Mackenzie and Carlos Aragon.
Brad Mackenzie and Aragon are veterinary surgeons and they lead Allied Veterinary Specialists. They have a location in Daytona Beach.
Godson, Bergen and Associates of Jacksonville is the civil engineer and Connors Design Group LLC of Ponte Vedra Beach is the architect.
Aramac Properties bought the site in October 2022 for $1.95 million from Eastland Timber LLC.
The site is at southeast E-Town Parkway and Interstate 295. The Exchange at eTown directory shows a veterinary specialty and emergency clinic at the site.
The city and utility JEA both have been reviewing applications for Aramac Properties LLC to develop a 14,400-square-foot hospital facility and a prospective almost 6,000-square-foot future building on 2.43 acres.
