Waffle House is coming to North Jacksonville near River City Marketplace.
The city issued a permit May 29 for Waffle House Inc. of Decatur, Georgia, to build a 2,000-square-foot restaurant on just more than a half-acre at 14035 Outback Drive at a project cost of $484,586.
Waffle House paid $300,000 for the property Sept. 12, 2023.
