Riverside Park Place sold for $2.75 million

Built in 1973, the office building is at 751 Oak St. between Five Points and Brooklyn.

Marcus & Millichap announced the sale May 14 of Riverside Park Place for $2.75 million.

The six-story building is at 751 Oak St., between the Five Points and Brooklyn neighborhoods.

Built in 1973, property records show it has 52,476 square feet of space.

The news release said the buyer is a South Florida-based investor. Michael Alaoui, vice president of investments in Marcus & Millichap’s Miami office, procured the buyer.

Property records show Bshara J. Barakat, through River Park Holdings LLC, acquired the property in 2012  for $1.4 million. 

The deed had not been recorded with the Duval County Clerk of Courts as of 10 a.m. May 14.

“The investment market remains active, even for office properties,” Will Harding, Marcus & Millichap senior associate, said in the release.

Marcus & Millichap  is a commercial real estate brokerage firm specializing in investment sales, financing, research and advisory services.
