Hanania Automotive Group announced March 26 it will be the presenting sponsor of the 2024 Naval Air Station Jacksonville Air Show.
The event is scheduled for Oct. 19-20.
The company will receive top billing as the sole presenting sponsor, according to a news release.
“Supporting our military is an important cause to us. Nearly 35 percent of the Hanania Automotive workforce is retired military personnel, and we’re proud to do our part to support all of our armed forces because they protect us, and they protect democracy around the world,” Jack Hanania, owner and CEO of the Jacksonville-based dealership, said in the release.
Hanania Automotive Group was the title sponsor in 2012, 2014, 2018 and 2022.
The Blue Angels are scheduled to headline the event both days.
The elite Navy flight demonstration squadron started at the naval air station in West Jacksonville in 1946, the release said.
Organizers expect 300,000 visitors, making it one of the largest air shows in the South.
Hanania founded the business in 1988.
Hanania’s group has 17 auto dealerships in Florida and Pennsylvania. Its dealerships include Acura, Audi, Buick GMC, Genesis, Honda, Hyundai, Infiniti, Porsche, Subaru and Volkswagen as well as used models.
It has three collision centers in Florida.
Hanania Automotive Group is building-out its headquarters in the 10-story Hanania Building at 1200 Riverplace Blvd. on the Downtown Southbank. The company is now based among its Blanding Boulevard dealerships.
