Keke’s Breakfast Cafe posted on social media that it will open its OakLeaf Town Center restaurant at 7 a.m. March 27.
The location is at 9570 Crosshill Blvd., No. 106, at southeast Crosshill Boulevard and Merchants Gate Drive west of Old Middleburg Road South.
“Hi, Oakleaf,” says the Keke’s Oakleaf Facebook page. “We can’t wait to bring even more fresh brunch favorites to the Jacksonville area. We open March 27 at 7am. See you soon.”
The city issued a permit Oct. 6 for Keke’s Breakfast Cafe to build-out in OakLeaf Town Center in Southwest Jacksonville.
Quantum Facilities Services LLC of Sarasota was the contractor and Haas Modern Architecture of Tampa was the architect for the 4,198-square-foot Crosshill Boulevard project at a cost of $800,000.
It follows the Feb. 19 opening of Keke’s at 12959 Atlantic Blvd., east of Girvin Road in East Arlington where Sugarfire Smokehouse closed in 2022.
Both the OakLeaf and Girvin restaurants had originally been leased to Panera Bread, which moved into stand-alone sites nearby.
Denny’s Inc. has owned Keke’s since July 2022.
Keke’s has four Northeast Florida restaurants that opened since 2017 at:
• East Arlington at 12959 Atlantic Blvd.
• The Strand at St. Johns Town Center at 4906 Town Center Parkway near St. Johns Town Center in Jacksonville.
• The Pavilion at Durbin Park at 450 Durbin Pavilion Drive, Suite E10, in Saint Johns.
• In St. Augustine at 135 Jenkins St., Unit 106.
Orlando-based Keke’s has 59 locations in Florida, with four coming soon to Jacksonville, Odessa, Delray Beach and Coconut Creek, according to kekes.com.
It also has one location in Tennessee with another coming soon, as well as an expansion into Sunnyvale, California.
Keke’s Breakfast Cafe locations are open 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily. They are closed Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
The online menu shows waffles, pancakes, omelets, other egg dishes and more on a breakfast menu served during all operating hours.
It shows the lunch menu starts at 10:30 a.m. and includes paninis, sandwiches, burgers, salads and more.
