People interested in joining the city of Jacksonville’s workforce can speak with recruiters and get more information at a job fair June 18.
The city said in a news release that representatives from more than 20 municipal divisions would be on hand for the event and would be actively recruiting for applicants.
The job fair will include a range of positions across most city departments and elected offices, the release said, including police and fire, inspection services, construction and maintenance, infrastructure and recreation.
The free event is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Prime F. Osborn III Convention Center, 1000 Water St.
Parking is free, and no registration is required. The city will provide a computer lab where participants can file applications on the spot.
