The city issued a permit July 26 for the Relax In Comfort furniture store to build-out in St. Johns Town Center.

Interior Buildouts Inc. is the contractor and Julie Hargrove is the architect for the $120,521 renovation of the 2,047-square-foot store at 4818 River City Drive, Unit 105. Both are based in Jacksonville.

Relax In Comfort sells adjustable smart beds, massage beds and zero gravity recliners.

The storefront at St. Johns Town Center is next to Lovesac and across the courtyard from Arhaus Furniture.

The city is reviewing a plan for Relax In Comfort to build-out in the space previously used as a temporary location for White House Black Market at 4818 River City Drive, No. 105. The women’s clothing store moved to new space.

Landlord Simon Property Group has been relocating retailers in the Town Center as they group stores by market, which opened up the space in the Nordstrom courtyard storefronts for Relax In Comfort.

Relax In Comfort is opening where White House Black Market temporarily operated while its new space was built-out next to Aritzia near Dick’s Sporting Goods.

Relax In Comfort was founded in 1967 in Orlando. It is based in Winter Park.
