Canadian fashion retailer Aritzia announced it opened July 25 in St. Johns Town Center.
The 8,089-square-foot store is at 4663 River City Drive near Dick’s Sporting Goods and Banana Republic.
Aritzia sells clothing, shoes, accessories and gifts. It started in 1984 inside the Hill family’s department store in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and then Brian Hill opened the first stand-alone boutique in a Vancouver mall.
Aritzia said in an email July 25 the boutique is its fifth in Florida.
Its said the shop includes “meticulously designed features including house-created playlists, thoughtfully curated paintings and artwork, elevated natural materials like textured brick arches, and vintage furniture sourced from Scandinavia, Italy, and France.”
Aritzia carries its own brands, including Babaton, Wilfred, Tna, Sunday Best and Super World, as well as others such as Levi’s, Citizens of Humanity, Calvin Klein, New Balance, G.H. Bass and Dr. Martens.
It also has expanded into menswear.
Aritzia says it “means style, not trend, and quality over everything. We treat each in-house label as its own atelier, united by premium fabrics, meticulous construction and an of-the-moment point of view. We handpick fabrics from the world’s best mills for their feel, function and ability to last.”
Artriza is open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
