Mixed Fillings Pie Shop in Five Points is moving, according to its Facebook page.
Natasha Burton and her spouse, Curtis Giebler, own the bakery. She posted her intention to move on July 24. No moving date or new location was given.
The post reads:
“Attention Cuties!
After much consideration, we’ve decided to close our Park Street location.
This decision wasn’t easy, but it’s time for a new chapter in our journey.
Stay tuned for details about our last date of service so we can all celebrate together one last time in Five Points.
Thank you for your endless support and love.
We can’t wait to share our next steps with you!
P.S don’t worry you can still place preorders for the month of July and August
It’s what’s inside (the pie) that counts

Next to a photo of Burton and Giebler, there is the James Clear affirmation: “Move toward the next thing, not away from the last thing. Same direction. Different energy.”
Burton created a GoFundMe account that states that she is being evicted from the location at 1049 Park St. for failure to pay rent. She contends there are maintenance issues that warranted withholding payment.
“We are creating this GoFundMe account to help cover our moving and legal fees,” the GoFundMe post reads.
“We have 5 days to deposit July’s rent, but the involvement of the court has added a significant amount of additional fees, making the situation even more challenging.”
Burton has set a goal of $9,000. As of 9 a.m. July 25, Burton raised $9,285 from 261 donors.
The Best of Florida Guide named Mixed Fillings the Best Florida Regional Bakery in October.
Mixed Fillings opened in June 2020 at 2251 Oak St. before moving to Five Points in April 2023.
In a Daily Record article about her move to Five Points, she said that move cost her more than $100,000. She paid for a year’s rent upfront.
