Westerly Park, a 500-home neighborhood with an amenity center, will be developed in Wildlight, the master-planned community in Nassau County.
Groundbreaking on the homes is expected to begin in fall, Wildlight announced July 17.
The westernmost neighborhood will feature a new amenity center for all Wildlight residential association members.
David Weekley Homes and Pulte Homes will build the 500 residences.
Wildlight is being developed by Raydient Places + Properties, a taxable subsidiary of Rayonier Inc., a real estate investment trust.
The Westerly Park recreation facility will feature an open-air pavilion overlooking a family pool and six-lane lap pool near a playground and picnic area.
Work on the amenity center is expected in 2025, according to a Raydient Places + Properties spokesperson. It will open spring 2026.
The neighborhood is near Wildlight Elementary School and the YMCA at Wildlight.
David Weekley Homes, new to Wildlight, will build town houses and duplexes on 20- to 35-foot lots, with expected delivery in fall 2025.
Pulte Homes will offer floor plans on 50- to 60-foot lots, breaking ground in the fall.
“By teaming up with David Weekley Homes and Pulte Homes, we’re blending exceptional home offerings with top-tier amenities,” said Wes Hinton, vice president of Wildlight.
Wildlight is planned for 24,000 homes when fully built-out.
Development has been steady there since development began in 2016.
Major projects include Publix at The Crossings in 2022, UF Health Wildlight in 2019 and Rayonier’s headquarters in 2017. The county’s first Wawa opened July 11.
Baptist Nassau Crossing Medical Campus is planning a November opening. A freestanding HCA Healthcare emergency center is expected to open in early 2025.
