V’s Barbershop opening in Nocatee

A franchise of the Phoenix-based chain leases space in the Town Center in Ponte Vedra.

V’s Barbershop opens at 10 a.m. July 11 in Nocatee Town Center next to the new Chop House Nocatee.

The franchised barbershop is at 300 Pine Lake Drive, Suite 103. Nocatee is in Ponte Vedra.

The shop said in a June 28 news release that it features antique barber chairs from the 1950s, sports imagery on the walls and flooring and décor from the era.

The shop sells haircuts as well as hot lather, straight-edge razor shaves; facials; beard treatments; and head and neck massages. 

The release said V’s is family-friendly.

Active duty and retired military members, first responders and frontline health care workers are offered a 20% discount daily.

Nocatee resident Nick Crouch and operating partner MoonJoo (MJ) Park, the master barber, are opening the location.

The release said Jim Valenzuela, known throughout the company as “Mr. V,” opened the first V’s in 1999 in Phoenix.

V’s Barbershop now has more than 60 locations in 19 states.
