The Nonprofit Center of Northeast Florida elected Community First Credit Union President and CEO Sam Inman board chair.
“My biggest goal is to work with the Board, Dawn (Lockhart, Nonprofit Center CEO) and staff to develop a new post-pandemic strategic plan. We have so much need and so many opportunities to serve Northeast Florida,” Inman said in a July 2 news release.
Inman succeeds board chair Lisa Johnson, who will remain on the board as chair emeritus.
Along with Inman, the Nonprofit Center seated four new board members: Katie Bakewell, modeling and analytics team lead at NLP Logix; Dane Bennett, vice president, government relations with Baptist Health; attorney Lawsikia Hodges of Smith, Gambrell & Russell; and Kathleen Shaw, executive vice president of Terry Family Foundation.
