Victoria’s Secret is the latest retailer to renovate at St. Johns Town Center.
The city issued a permit Feb. 13 for Horizon Retail Construction Inc. to remodel the existing store at a project cost of almost $1.1 million.
The 9,004-square-foot store is at 4742 River City Drive, Unit 101, in the South Jacksonville shopping center.
Horizon is based in Sturtevant, Wisconsin. MG2 Corp. of New York City is the architect.
Plans show rooms for Victoria’s Secret, a women’s lingerie and clothing brand, and its PINK line that targets a younger demographic.
St. Johns Town Center landlord Simon Property Group has been adding and expanding women’s clothing retailers.
Gucci, Garage, Evereve and Aritzia are among the new retailers that have opened or are building-out new stores.
Lululemon is expanding into a larger space.
J. Crew and Loft are moving into other spaces to make way for Aritzia.
Mayor’s Jewelers is in temporary space as it renovates its original store.
Chanel is building-out a Fragrance and Beauty Boutique in the former Steve Madden space.
There also are restaurant and retail changes taking place in the adjacent The Markets at Town Center, The Strand at Town Property and on other property near Town Center.
