Clay County is reviewing plans for Heartland Dental to Middleburg.
The application summary says Pensacola-based WMG Development wants to divide the undeveloped property for an unnamed project. A shared driveway is part of the plan.
The site is at 2524 County Road 220 in Middleburg about a half-mile east of Florida 224. Pensacola-based Granger Development, through Granger Development & Brokerage Services Inc., bought the 1.65-acre site for $425,000 in 2022.
KPM Franklin of Kissimmee is the civil engineer on the project.
The county’s Development Review Committee is scheduled to discuss the plans Jan. 9.
Founded in 1995, Heartland Dental works with 2,800 doctors “on providing support for the day-to-day nonclinical administrative workflow in over 1,700 locations across 39 states and the District of Columbia,” according to its website.
Each Heartland office will have a unique name, logo and brand.
Heartland Dental is part of KKR, a global investment firm that owns more than 200 companies with more than $149 billion in investments, according to its website.
