Crave Cookies, a national cookie chain that delivers, is permitted to build-out in St. Johns County.

It will be the company’s first location in Northeast Florida, adding to its 37 stores nationwide.

The county issued the permit Dec. 17.

The store is planned at 3735 Longleaf Pine Parkway, Suite 221, at The Shoppes of Aberdeen, south of Racetrack Road.

Jacksonville-based Suncoast Industrial & Construction Services Inc. is the contractor for the project, estimated at $295,000.

The store will be 1,663 square feet.

Crave Cookies was founded in 2017 and is headquartered in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

According to Cravecookies.com, it offers new flavors weekly.

“Every Friday, we unveil a new lineup of five mouthwatering flavors, ensuring your taste buds never face a dull moment. It’s a weekly taste thrill ride, climaxing with the addition of our crowd-pleaser Semi-Sweet Chunk every Thursday,” the website says.

Regular flavors in rotation include Oreo Dirt Pie and Cookies ‘N Caramel.

Cookies are sold individually, in a “Crave Pack” of four, and by six or a dozen.

“Our New York-style cookies are not just baked; they’re crafted for moments of awe, size, and a flavor twist that leaves ordinary in the dust. Get ready; this is where cookie monotony comes to die,” the website says.

There are five stores in Florida, with the closest to Northeast Florida is in Oviedo, near Orlando.

Other tenants at The Shoppes of Aberdeen include Mexican restaurant Cantina Louie, Urgent Care Cure at Saint Johns, and gym Burn Boot Camp.

Jacksonville-based Ash Properties owns the property through The Shoppes of Aberdeen LLC.
