Sunrise Affordable Housing Group buys two apartment communities for a total of $10.1 million

The Palm Beach company purchased the Huron-Sophia Apartments and the Capri Villa Apartments on Dec. 6.

Two Jacksonville apartment communities sold Dec. 6 for a total of $10.1 million.

The Klotz Group of Companies of Atlantic Beach sold both properties:

• Huron-Sophia Apartments at 2800 Huron St. in West Jacksonville sold for $5.2 million through Huron Sophia Acquisition LLC.

• Capri Villa Apartments at 4832 N. Main St. in North Jacksonville sold for $4.9 million through Capri Villas Acquisition LLC.

Sunrise Affordable Housing Group of Palm Beach bought both communities through SAH HSCV Holdings LP. 

The 72-unit Huron-Sophia Apartments was built in 1971. There are nine buildings on 3.67  acres. The per-unit sales price is $72,222.

The apartments are in the Woodstock area. The one-bedroom and one-bath units are 630 square feet. The two-bedroom, one-bath units are 900 square feet.

Rental and amenity information was not available.

They last sold in June 2021 for $2.431 million.

The 80-unit Capri Villa Apartments in Brentwood was built in 1951. It comprises 20 buildings on 4.69 acres. The per-unit sales price is $61,250.

All units have one bedroom and one bath and are 625 square feet.

Rental information was not available.

Amenities include high-speed internet access and air conditioning. The units are smoke-free.

They previously sold in June 2021 for $3.451 million.
