Coldwell Banker Real Estate announced Dec. 11 that Anabasis Realty of Jacksonville is joining its network.
Its two divisions are now Coldwell Banker Anabasis Realty and Coldwell Banker Commercial Anabasis Realty.
U.S. Navy veteran Mark Ocepek and his son, real estate broker Bryce Ocepek, co-founded Anabasis in May 2022. It has grown to 12 independent sales agents with more than $100 million in closed real estate transactions.
“We are proud to partner with Coldwell Banker’s iconic brand, and we’re confident that our association with Coldwell Banker will allow us to better serve our agents and reach more consumers with this new partnership,” Bryce Ocepek said in a news release.
Anabasis is joining the Coldwell Banker network under the Inclusive Ownership program, Coldwell Banker said in the release.
The initiative was launched with Coldwell Banker in 2020 to increase representation of underrepresented groups in the real estate industry, including military veterans.
“When we increase diversity among our broker-owners, brokerages can better serve groups that are traditionally underrepresented as homeowners,” said Jason Waugh, president of Coldwell Banker Affiliates.
The Ocepeks also co-founded private real estate investment fund Anabasis Real Estate Investment Trust. They own or manage more than $10 million in real estate assets.
They also have an in-house mortgage company. It provides financing to residential, investment and commercial customers.
They deal in conventional, FHA, VA, and other traditional loan products as well as private bridge financing for residential and commercial real estate investors and buyers.
The Anabasis office in Jacksonville is at 103 Century 21 Drive, Suite 100-008 near Regency.
Anabasis also said Dec. 11 it opened a new office in Baker County at 1169-1 S. Sixth St. in Macclenny.
