The Church of Eleven22 plans to expand with a worship center in St. Augustine.

St. Johns County is reviewing plans for a 29,000-square-foot facility in Lewis Point Plaza at 2435 U.S. 1. 

Jacksonville-based Ash Properties owns the shopping center. Other tenants include Rent-A-Center, Corner Sushi, Friendly Nails and H&R Block.

The Church of Eleven22 is planned at 2435 U.S. 1. in Lewis Point Plaza in St. Augustine. The space previously was a Save A Lot grocery store.

The Church of Eleven22 Chief Operating Officer Shane Maxwell submitted the permit application Nov. 21h.

It will be the church’s 15th campus. The congregation primarily operates in Northeast Florida and Jesup, Georgia, about 100 miles north of Jacksonville.

On April 25 Rayonier announced that the church will build a campus in Nassau County’s Wildlight, a master-planned community in Nassau County.

According to its website, Lead Pastor Joby Martin founded The Church of Eleven22 in Jacksonville in 2012. Its main campus is at 14286 Beach Blvd. at Beach Boulevard and San Pablo Road.
