Company linked to Pacific Dental Services buys closed Cobblestone bank branch

The Nevada-based LLC bought a former Bank of America office at Monument and McCormick roads in East Arlington.

A limited liability company affiliated with Pacific Dental Services bought the closed Bank of America branch in the Cobblestone Crossing shopping center area of East Arlington.

Jacksonville Covenant Group LLC of Henderson, Nevada, paid $1.525 million for the 3,804-square-foot building and five-teller-lane drive-thru on 0.61 acres at 2709 Monument Road. The deed was recorded Nov. 20 with the Duval County Clerk of Court.

The LLC’s address is that of Pacific Health, whose Pacific Dental Services supports more than 1,000 practices in 24 states. 

PacificDentalServices.com shows it has 76 locations in Florida, with the closest to Jacksonville in Port Orange.

The practices operate under their own names. Pacific Dental Services, based in Irvine, California, provides billing, payroll, marketing, insurance and other services.

It says it offers dentists and dental specialists the chance to own practices after gaining experience in a PDS-supported environment.

SouthState Bank of St. Augustine issued a $1.4 million mortgage on the property to the LLC Nov. 20.

The site is at northwest Monument and McCormick roads. 

Barnett Bank of Jacksonville, in care of Bank of America in Charlotte, North Carolina, sold the property. The bank branch was built in 1987. Bank of America acquired Barnett Bank through mergers.

Jacksonville Covenant Group LLC was registered with the state Oct. 9, 2024. Pacific Dental Services started in 1994.

The Jacksonville LLC is led by Pacific Dental Services founder, President and CEO Stephen Thorne IV; Vice President of Real Estate Christopher Aguon; and Nevada RE Manager LLC, which is led by the Thorne Living Trust.
