Jacksonville Beach-based Sleiman Centers LLC bought two St. Augustine shopping centers in receivership for a total of $10.675 million.
The properties were auctioned in June via a U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona court order. The winning bidder was Sleiman Centers LLC. The deeds for both properties were signed by the receiver Aug. 9.
Through Mercado Walk LLC, Sleiman acquired a Starbucks-anchored shopping center at 155-167 Palencia Village Drive for $6.5 million.
The seller was Phoenix-based ATA Mercado St. Augustine FL LLC.
The 3.96-acre shopping center, with 21,579 square feet of space, was built in 2007.
Other tenants include Island Doctors and Pacific Asian Bistro.
Plaza Palencia
Sleiman also acquired the Plaza Palencia shopping center at 7440 U.S. 1 N. for $4.175 million.
The seller was Phoenix-based ATA Palencia St. Augustine FL LLC.
Tenants in the shopping center include Goodwill, Donovan’s Irish Pub and Dunkin’.
The 1.58-acre shopping center, built in 2008, has 12,868 square feet of space.
