Attorney Lawsikia Hodges expanded her government affairs practice at Smith Gambrell & Russell after being selected Orange Park’s new town attorney.

The Orange Park Town Council chose Hodges in a 5-0 vote Aug. 6 to succeed Jody Brooks, who became JEA’s chief administrative officer in May.

After growing up in Orange Park and graduating from Orange Park High School, Hodges graduated from the University of North Florida with a bachelor’s in political science and then received a J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.
