Jersey Mike’s Subs is building-out in Brooklyn Station on Riverside.
The city issued a permit Aug. 7 for Oakwell Companies LLC of Jacksonville to renovate the space for Jersey Mike’s at a project cost of $294,080.
Jersey Mike’s will lease the 1,386-square-foot space at 90 Riverside Ave., Unit 604, a space vacated by Drybar hair styling shop.
Property owner and landlord Regency Centers Corp. shows Jersey Mike’s in Space 420, between Mayday Handcrafted Ice Cream and Vale Food Co.
Regency Centers said in June it expected a build-out of three to four months.
The addition of Jersey Mike’s turns the five-tenant strip of shops into a food and restaurant center, anchored on each end by Cava and Burrito Gallery. That building is about 11,200 square feet of space.
The almost 50,000-square-foot, four-building Brooklyn Station is anchored by The Fresh Market and the First Watch cafe and includes more restaurants. It’s next to a separate development that also focuses on food tenants, such as Panera Bread.
The properties are in the Brooklyn neighborhood of Downtown near the north base of the Acosta Bridge.
