LandSouth Construction announced Aug. 5 that Jason Cromer will become president of the company effective Oct. 7.
“Jason embodies our core values and emulates the culture of LandSouth. I have known Jason for 20 years and have the utmost confidence in his ability to lead with humility and servant attitude,” LandSouth founder and CEO James Pyle said in a news release.
As president, Cromer will be responsible for planning, implementing and integrating business operations and strategic direction.
He will continue in his current role as vice president of preconstruction during the transition process while the search progresses for his replacement, the company said.
Cromer received a bachelor’s in business management and an MBA from Georgia Southern University. He is a member of the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl Chairman’s Club and a member of the University of North Florida Construction Management Advisory Board.
Headquartered in Jacksonville, LandSouth Construction specializes in multifamily, senior living and mixed-use development. Since 1998, the company says it has completed more than 30,000 multifamily units.
