Two judicial seats are on the ballot in the Aug. 20 primary election. With just two candidates, one of the races will be decided after the polls close. The other has four candidates, so the primary ballot may lead to a runoff election in November.
The Jacksonville Bar Association and the Federalist Society Jacksonville Lawyers Chapter presented a public forum June 13 featuring the judicial candidates in the 4th Judicial Circuit.
Those interested may visit jaxbar.org/page/JF24 to view the video of the forum and hear each candidate talk about their qualifications for office and their philosophy on the bench if elected.
The panel includes 4th Judicial Circuit Group 34 candidates Nancy Cleaveland and Ashley Wells Cox.
Also on the panel are Duval County Group 9 candidates Andrew Bonderud, Marcus Isom, Shayla Lee and Matthew Lufrano.
