The Loop restaurant announced April 25 it is open in the World Golf Village area of St. Augustine.
The Loop is at 150 Village Commons Drive, Suite 105, in the Publix-anchored Parkway Village at St. Johns shopping center. It is off International Golf Parkway about 2.2 miles southwest of the World Golf Village entrance.
This is the fifth Loop for franchisers Angelina and Maurilio Gonzales.
“We designed this location with a larger patio and slightly more intimate interior,” Maurilio Gonzalez said in a news release.
“This allows for a similar capacity of our other locations, but with the opportunity to enjoy the coastal breeze dining outside. We’re also responding to the trend toward increased To Go, Delivery through our App and Catering requests.”
The Loop restaurant was started in San Marco by Mike and Terry Schneider in 1981. It was then called The Loop Pizza Grill.
The fast-casual concept offers made-to-order burgers, pizza, salads and milkshakes.
This restaurant is the 14th Loop. There are 10 in the greater Jacksonville area and four in North Carolina.
The chain is looking for a location in North Ponte Vedra Beach, according to the release.
