The Farah & Farah law firm and First Coast YMCA are working together to raise awareness of the water safety resources available at the Y.
The collaboration will help educate and encourage the community to learn how to swim, monitor those in the water and express the need for trained lifeguards.
“We believe in the power of partnerships that promote community safety and well-being. Teaming up with First Coast YMCA allows us to emphasize the importance of water safety resources. Together, we’re committed to educating and empowering individuals to swim safely and prevent water-related incidents,” Chuck Farah, senior partner, said in a news release.
The partnership will officially begin April 20 when all YMCA pools open for the season. Members of the public can sign up for a free swim test at any YMCA location and those that do will receive two free guest pass visits to be used at any time.
